Summerbridge is the reason I love math. In elementary school, I was never fond of math; it wasn't the most interesting subject to learn since it came easily to me. It never really challenged me, hence I would just blow through it. However, Summerbridge turned math into a subject to appreciate. I was also apart of the dance and step clubs both years I attended Summerbridge respectively. I looked forward to the performances during celebration. One of the most memorable and favorite parts about Summerbridge were Fridays when everyone rode the bus to Moravian Academy high school to go swimming or play out in the field. We all just went wild, having fun outside with all of our friends. Summerbridge was a place where I could be myself. I went in not knowing anyone and left with friendships lasting far into the future.
After Summerbridge, I went to Bethlehem Catholic high school where I ran cross country freshman year, ran track freshman through junior year, and played basketball all four years. Also, I was apart of the honor society and took multiple honors courses. I participated in student government and was the class president sophomore and junior years. I was apart of the chess club. I've had a few jobs over the summer. I worked at Beca, Kmart, and Against All Odds. I now attend Albright college in Reading, PA.. At school, I am on the event staff where I keep the scorebook or take tickets at sporting events and games. This summer I stayed at Albright where I worked for the athletic trainers during Hoop Group basketball camps. I currently play basketball for Albright.
